As promised in the previous video, we are telling you what the Accessibility Map is, which is being developed by the non-governmental organization Public Movement "Social Unity" within the framework of the program "Barrier free Ukraine for the Deaf: Monitoring the Accessibility of Socially Important Infrastructure". The accessibility map is a unique solution that allows people with various forms of disabilities to easily find places, institutions, and facilities where everything is adapted to their needs. These are hospitals, banks, restaurants, pharmacies, and other organizations that people with hearing, vision, musculoskeletal disorders (etc.) can visit without feeling any discomfort because all the appropriate conditions are created for free and barrier-free access.
Each mark on the map is an address of an institution ready to provide quality services without communication and psychological barriers to people with disabilities. You can find this map on the website of the non-governmental organization. Click on the word "Map" in the menu. There is also a map of accessibility on the National Social Portal "Vilno", which is implemented by the non-governmental organization Public Movement "Social Unity".
Special filters have been implemented for the convenience of using the map. You can sort objects not only by location, but also by object types, such as all hospitals, all dentists, or other required objects.
With each passing month, new objects are appearing on the map, adapted to the needs of people with hearing impairments. So be sure to keep a link to the map close and enjoy.
The project is implemented with the support of the Fund for Social Protection of the Disabled, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
