The key focus of our activities as a non-governmental organization is advocating for the interests of people with hearing impairments.
For many years, the NGO "Public Movement "Social Unity" has been providing a free SOS button service for calling emergency services with the highest priority of service.
During this time, we have processed more than 13,905 emergency calls.
We continue to support this service on our own so that every deaf person can get help in a critical situation.
In addition to the free emergency services hotline, users of our mobile app "Sign Language Interpreter" will be able to receive FREE minutes during promotions, which we will announce in advance.
We make sure that access to a sign language interpreter is always available, because it is a matter of safety for people with hearing impairments.
We will also continue to raise awareness among the public and government agencies that providing sign language interpreters is a critical need. After all, Ukrainian sign language is often the only means of communication for people with complete or partial hearing loss.
