It is a charity pilot project for the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that introduces sign language translation into the National Police of Ukraine to provide legal assistance and prompt clarification to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people about their rights and responsibilities in specific legal situations in Ukraine, creating relevant video materials.
The project was implemented following the decision of the Fund for Social Protection of the Disabled as of August 25, 2020 № 81.
Within the framework of the project, 4 social videos with adaptation to the Ukrainian sign language were developed and created.
These are stories about overcoming circumstances on the example of Deaf Ukrainians, which are solved thanks to the National Police of Ukraine without any language and psychological barriers.
