We are well aware of the problems that people with various forms of disabilities face every day, because we communicate with them on a daily basis, they are among us, in our team. That is why we ask ourselves every day: "What can we do today to make tomorrow better?" The team of the non-governmental organization is constantly searching for opportunities to create a truly inclusive space in Ukraine, friendly to people with various forms of disabilities.
Together with state authorities and local self-government bodies we find solutions that allow everybody to feel equal in society.
Since 2015, our team members have traveled tens of thousands of kilometers and held countless talks with government officials, hoping that Ukraine will become even more accessible to people with various disabilities. The first results have appeared since 2020, and Memoranda of Partnership have been signed with authorities that understand the importance of providing special support and assistance to vulnerable populations.
2021 for the team of the non-governmental organization Public Movement “Social Unity" is a year of irreversible and grandiose changes that add confidence that Ukraine will definitely be without barriers. The relevant Ministries, Regional State Administrations, City Councils, state and municipal organizations, as well as other socially responsible institutions that work to create a barrier-free space for people with various forms of disabilities joined the cooperation with us.
