The Postcode Ukraine Charitable Foundation is a hybrid art and humanitarian aid project that provides direct support to Ukrainians most affected by the war. The project supports small charities and volunteer associations in Ukraine to provide humanitarian aid where it is most needed. The charity is supported by British citizens and was founded in 2022 by British artist Mark Neville, who lives in Kyiv.
The foundation's team personally delivers some of the parcels to hotspots. It also provides grants to affiliated charities for reconstruction, evacuation and support projects for those affected by the Russian invasion.
The highest priority for assistance from the Postcode Ukraine Foundation is given to the regions closest to active hostilities following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, including Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kherson regions, where there is extensive damage to infrastructure, limited access to basic services and communities are in a vulnerable position where their livelihoods are under threat. "Postcode Ukraine is funding projects to support millions of internally displaced people (IDPs) who have fled frontline communities and need to rebuild their lives.

Thanks to the financial support of the Postcode Ukraine team to many organisations, the most affected regions receive the means to restore life and hope:
- for Donetsk region – delivery of art materials for children;
- for Kyiv region – a grant to provide housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs), repair and restore premises for comfortable and safe living, arrange a children's play space and library;
- for Dnipropetrovs'k region – purchase of sets of quality books in Ukrainian in Kyiv, from classical literature to illustrated guides to wildlife;
- for Kharkiv region – providing support to the elderly, people with disabilities and vulnerable families, from urgent evacuation from the areas of shelling to food aid, maintenance of temporary shelters for Ukrainians with disabilities and transport services;
- for Poltava region – gifts for children (various toys, puzzles, art and books), which have become a symbol of hope, inspiration for dreams and a distraction from the ongoing full-scale war that children have witnessed;
- for Kherson and Donetsk regions – delivery of emergency supplies, restoration of damaged infrastructure, provision of medical care and support for the overall recovery of the regions.
Implemented as part of cooperation:
- The Postcode Ukraine Foundation supports the ABC of Safety project, implemented by the NGO Public Movement "Social Unity" together with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which aims to make available collections of rules, tips and advice that warn of emergencies and provide Ukrainians with an algorithm for dealing with various types of hazards. These rules and tips are especially important in times of war.
The instructions have been adapted into Ukrainian sign language (for people with hearing impairments) and audio description for text and graphic content (for people with visual impairments).
The videos are distributed on the channels of the Social Unity NGO. The project aims to reduce the information vacuum and provide everyone with independent access to important information to protect themselves and their families.
