The NGO "Public Movement "Social Unity" and the Foxtrot trade network, adhering to the principles of barrier-freeness, tolerance and humanity, started cooperation. In particular, the partnership is conditioned by a common goal – to contribute to the creation of equal conditions of access to goods and services for all citizens, regardless of any factors.

Foxtrot is one of the largest Ukrainian retailers in terms of the number of stores of digital and household appliances, a member of Euronics – the largest purchasing group of electronics and household appliances that works with 35 European countries, a member of the "Barriers-Free Business" community, which united around the initiative of the first Lady Olena Zelenska "Barriers-Free", aimed at creating equal opportunities for all Ukrainians.

Having a successful experience during the last three decades, the company does not rest on its laurels and continues to work diligently on improving the comfortable space for choosing gadgets and modern appliances for the home, the quality of service, and the launch of innovative services.

The "Barrier-free Foxtrot" project, aimed at introducing modern solutions for people with hearing impairments in the Foxtrot chain of stores, won silver at the UCXE'2024 award in the Best Example of an Inclusive Approach category.

The pilot phase of the "Barrier-free Foxtrot" project involved the installation of modern digital solutions for calling a sign language interpreter in 10 stores of the chain. These solutions have now been installed in 20 Foxtrot outlets across Ukraine.

The introduction in the Foxtrot network of modern digital services for people with hearing impairments, developed on the initiative of the NGO "Civil Movement "Social Unity" plays an important role in supporting the National Strategy for the creation of a barrier-free space, which promotes and promotes the implementation of a favorable environment for people with different forms disabilities and draws society's attention to the barriers that people with disabilities in Ukraine face every day.
