December 3 - International Day of People with Disabilities

December 3 - International Day of People with Disabilities

2022 has become almost the most difficult year for all Ukrainians.

People with various forms of disability were forced to become the most vulnerable category of the population due to Russia's war against Ukraine.

People with total or partial hearing loss cannot hear the air raid signal and be aware of current news and events.
People with visual impairments do not have full access to all the content published in the online space, which is now the fastest channel for obtaining vital information.
People with damage to the motor apparatus do not have a full opportunity to protect themselves in times of danger and do not always have the opportunity to reach even the nearest shelter.

It is possible to list the difficulties that Ukrainians are currently facing for a long time.
And today, even though it is very difficult, we want and need to talk about it.

The team of the NGO "Public Movement "Social Unity" continues to work hard.
And we are sure that all Ukrainians, without exception, will toughen up, become stronger and more resilient, because nothing can break us.

We do everything depending on us and keep on working.
We are absolutely sure that after the victory of Ukraine, which will certainly happen, our country will change.
Very soon, all of us together, society and the state, public non-profit organizations and large businesses, all of us, will be able to create appropriate inclusive conditions that will allow people with various forms of disability to feel comfortable, equal and free in Ukraine.

Barrier free Ukraine — to be. We know it for sure!
