According to the WHO, more than one billion people, or about 15% of the world's population, have some form of disability. People with various forms of disabilities often have limited access to health care and Deaf and Hard of Hearing people are, unfortunately, no exception. But every citizen has the right to quality, safe, and, most importantly, accessible medical care. Everyone should have free access to the necessary medical services. According to the Minister of Health - Viktor Liashko, from 2022, health care institutions should provide translation from/into sign language. Therefore, the team of the non-governmental organization actively supports cooperation in the implementation of the most progressive ideas of accessibility in the field of medicine.
