We want to make your work even more interesting and barrier-free for people with various disabilities.
We would like to note that the full realization of the right to access the court for people with complete or partial hearing loss is impossible without providing the courts with sign language translation. At the same time, the possibility of unimpeded communication with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people should be provided not only during the direct consideration of the case.
The use of specialized software on the premises and the web pages of courts will allow people with hearing loss to receive at any time information on the status of cases in a form acceptable to them, to freely contact the chairman, officials of the court on matters related to their competencies, which will contribute to the effective exercise of their procedural rights and responsibilities.
Currently, the non-governmental organization Public Movement "Social Unity" is launching appropriate procedures aimed at bridging the existing gap in the legislation and hopes that the judiciary will support such an initiative.
Congratulations and we sincerely believe that in the near future the whole of Ukraine will be proud of the Ukrainian barrier-free judiciary.
