The final emphasis of the work of the non-governmental organization Public Movement "Social Unity" in the framework of the project "Barrier free Ukraine for the Deaf: Сountering Violence against Women with Hearing Impairments" was a photoshoot for Deaf and Hard of hearing women. The project was also supported by men.
It was easy and extremely enjoyable to work with the girls, who at first accepted the invitation with caution, but then agreed to participate.
Open, smiling, feminine, and at the same time strong personalities. Confident. And not very much.
But together we were able to create a wonderful atmosphere where it was easy, comfortable, and extremely pleasant to be around without experiencing any barriers to communication.
They tried to convince everyone that no violence should be tolerated.
Never! Under no circumstances!
We are convinced that our participants felt support and understanding and we want to believe that we were able to raise their faith in themselves.
Girls, we urge you – do not be afraid!
You don't have to put up with being bullied, ridiculed, pressured, or insulted!
You can and should be joyful, happy women. And this is possible only when there is sincerity and respect, love and trust between partners/colleagues/friends/acquaintances.
Enjoy life! Enjoy it every day! Be happy!
