In the fast pace of life, we were forgetting that the Great Patriotic War is not just paragraphs from history books, but a huge piece of life of the older generations. Some of them have been living during the repression and horrors of those events, and now, it seems, in the 21st century, in a peaceful and quiet time, they have to live in this nightmare again.
We value our heritage and care about history, so it means that we have a responsibility to care for the elderly.
Floris Medical Center and the Sumy Regional Charitable Fund for Health Development continue to provide temporary shelter to the elderly. With the support of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the non-governmental organization Public Movement “Social Unity” provides humanitarian assistance to dozens of families: clothing, food, hygiene items and everything that people who have been forced to move need. Together, we strive to provide medicine and medical services to all who need it.
We are sure that the victory will be ours! Ukrainians are free people and we have it in our power to cope with all the trials of fate.
