Humanitarian aid with Olena Zelenska support in cooperation with Meest

Every day our victory is getting closer. This path is quite difficult. There are no simple decisions and easy destinies. We meet thousands of people on the way, whose eyes should not have seen all these nightmares of war. It would be difficult to win alone, so we try to do our best with each new partner. We are incredibly grateful to people the fate introducing us for showing the strength and infinity of the Ukrainian soul every time, over and over again.

We continue to support those who need it most in wartime.

NGO Public movement "Social Unity" together with partners and Olena Zelenska support, in cooperation with Canadian-Ukrainian Foundation and Meest, organized 1,132 product kits for the elderly, people with various disabilities and low mobility groups in the regions of Ukraine that need it most.

This is Kyiv region (Kyiv, Borodyanka, Irpin, Moshchun and a number of other affected villages in the region), Zhytomyr region (Korosten and Malyn, Narodychi village), Chernihiv region (Goncharivske village and districts), Sumy region (Sumy and villages to the north), Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa region and Kharkiv city.

Each food kit is 19.2 kg and consists of the most necessary, in particular:

  • buckwheat porridge — 5 packs;
  • pasta — 6 packs;
  • beans — 2 jars;
  • canned meat — 2 jars;
  • oil — 2 bottles;
  • sugar — 2 packs;
  • salt — 1 pack;
  • oatmeal — 6 packs;
  • sardines — 4 banks;
  • rice — 2 packs;

In the Korosten community of the Zhytomyr region, the kits will be delivered by volunteers of the Vidvazhni (Brave) Charitable Foundation. Among the recipients are the elderly and people with limited mobility who suffered from air strikes.

In the rest of the regions, the sets will be delivered by volunteers Pechersky Kotyky, Let's Help Charitable Foundation, NGO Public movement "Social Unity", Friends of Ukraine Foundation ICF, NGO Special People — Special World.

Vlad Samoilenko also handed over the kits to our defenders — the 5th Separate Assault Regiment of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade.

NGO Barrier free was involved in gathering needs, organizing assistance, and coordinating the process.

ATB Company — a member of the Barrier-Free Business community, provided its kits storage facilities.
