In April, the Ministry of Social Policy provided funding for the payment of all subsidies, benefits, and cash social benefits assigned to people before the dates fixed in the funding schedule.
On April 1, the Ministry of Social Policy transferred the necessary funding to the regions. This is more than 8.6 billion hryvnias. In particular, UAH 4.8 billion was allocated for the financing of various types of social assistance, and UAH 3.8 billion for the financing of benefits and subsidies.
All regions sent funds for payment to districts and cities. Thus, in the coming days, the funds will be transferred to people's bank accounts and paid through Ukrposhta.
This month, as in March, despite the martial law, the payment is conducted earlier.
Relevant payments are financed for recipients throughout the territory where the social protection bodies work.
We remind you that in order to ensure payments to people from certain cities and districts where social protection bodies were unable to work due to active fighting, the Government introduced a special mechanism for centralized accrual and payment of cash aid, benefits, and subsidies.
According to information from the regions, in April this mechanism will be applied in some cities and districts of 8 regions. In particular:
- Donetsk region: Volnovakha, Mariupol districts, and the cities of Vugledar and Mariupol
- Zaporizhzhya region: Vasylkiv, Melitopol, Pologi, and Berdiansk districts and cities of Melitopol, Energodar, Berdiansk, Tokmak
- Kyiv region: Bucha and Vyshhorod districts and the cities of Bucha, Irpin, Slavutych
- Luhansk region: all cities and districts
- Sumy region: Okhtyrka district within the former Trostyanets district
- Kharkiv region: most districts and cities of the region
- Kherson region: Vysokopil district
- Chernihiv region: all cities and districts.
Currently, the Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy conducts centralized accrual of cash benefits, privileges, and housing subsidies in these cities and districts.
After that, the Ministry of Social Policy will direct the necessary funding to the Oschadbank, which will ensure the transfer of payments to people.
Oschadbank will do this as follows:
- Those citizens who received payments to their bank accounts, will receive the funds via transfer to the same account by JSC "Oschadbank".
So, if you receive a subsidy, benefits, or cash benefits to your banking card, you do not need to go anywhere and do anything extra. You will get the payment on the same card as usual.
- Those citizens who received payments through Ukrposhta, will receive a money transfer from Oschadbank through the international payment system “MY TRANSFER”.
In order to receive a money transfer, it is enough to apply for it in any branch of the Oschadbank in Ukraine with a passport and a certificate with the taxpayer identification number.
Citizens who did not have time to receive their payments for March through the transfer have the opportunity to do so within two months of enrollment. It took place on March 18.
It is also possible to call the Oschadbank hotline and forward the transfer to any other bank where it is convenient for the person to receive the payment.
In any case, even if the recipient does not apply for the transfer within two months, all due amounts will be paid to him in subsequent payment periods.
