In the fall of 2020, I conducted a tour around Kyiv with the most charming manager of Kyiv – Yuliia Bevzenko.
It was a unique event – a tour around the capital for Deaf Ukrainians who need a sign language translation.
The event was attended by more than 30 Deaf participants then. They got acquainted with the secret courtyards of the city, using a specialized licensed mobile application "Translator SL". Thanks to the function "Group translator" the online sign language interpreter was simultaneously displayed on all smartphones of the event participants and translated everything that Yuliia said into sign language in real-time.
My heart aches from these memories so much.
How painful it is to realize that our Kyiv is forced to defend itself and protect the right to its future, preservation of its culture, art, and history.
Kyiv, we miss you.
But we know for sure that we will undoubtedly win!
And we will definitely organize a big tour around the streets of hero city, and maybe around Chornobayivka as well.
