The Non-governmental organization "Public Movement "Social Unity" and the Foxtrot trade network signed a memorandum of cooperation. The joint activity between the NGO "Public Movement "Social Unity" and Foxtrot is determined by a common goal – to contribute to the creation of equal conditions of access to goods and services for all citizens, regardless of any factors. This cooperation plays an important role in supporting the National Strategy for the Creation of a Barrier-Free Space, which promotes and facilitates the implementation of a favorable environment for people with various forms of disabilities and draws society's attention to the barriers that people with disabilities face on a daily basis in Ukraine.
Acknowledgement of the rights to full participation in society of everyone, without exception, is a huge step of our state to meet a civilized society, where barrier-free is the norm.
The Foxtrot retail chain is one of the largest retail chains in Ukraine in terms of the number of stores and the volume of sales of electronics and household appliances. Presented in 112 stores in more than 60 cities of Ukraine and the online store Foxtrot.ua.
Thanks to the cooperation of the non-governmental organization with the retail chain Foxtrot, a specialized license solution for calling an online sign language interpreter will soon be available in a number of the chain's stores. This means that everyone whose native language is sign language will receive high-quality and understandable consultations in their native language without any restrictions, without communication or psychological barriers.
